What would you do if you were in my position?

I don't know what to do. I really need to work right now, but to work, I need my four year old granddaughter in school because I can't afford a babysitter. She is not ready for kindergarten. She says her abcs like ABCDEFGHIJK Elmo Pees. She's not being cute. I even say it slowly so she can get it...nope. I feel like putting her into kindergarten early is a real mistake for her. I think her brother would have been okay starting at four. But she's just not ready. Should I put her in anyway? I don't think I should set her up to fail, but my husband thinks I should. Help.
