I am looking for a dr and about the only thing left are pa's?

and narp's on my insurance. I am just curious if they can write prescriptions and refills like dr.s can because I am on several medications like Klonopin, blood pressure med, antidepressant and the dr. I have now I don't like and she's far away (want someone closer), but all I have to do is call in to get my prescriptions because I go in every three months anyways, but it coincides with prescription time. I don't want someone I have to go in every month just for meds. I have too busy of a schedule for this, I have to go in now every three months for blood checks because of my cholesterol. I am just wondering if I will have to go through a bunch of rigmarole if I switch to a PA or narp (or whatever they are called) to get my prescriptions.
