How can you know the truth about your appearance?

i think it all depends on peoples taste on if they think ur attractive or not. and yes i think it is possible for one person to find someone really attractive that someone else would find ugly, me and my best friend have completely different tastes in guys the ones that she drools over i cant stand and think there hideous and she feels the same for the kind of guy i find attractive, so i wouldn't let the fact that some people wont find you attractive get you down just brush it off and think well other people find me attractive, it's their loss if they don't. x
