Seeking book title with only a plot synopsis?

I'm looking for a book I used to have. It was about a rich girl who falls in love with her rich disfigured neighbor. They marry and fall in to a routine. So one day she has dinner with another man and he beats her and tries to her so she runs away and her husband has to track her down in hiding.
