Is this a healthy diet, advice needed?
Contrary to what NikB says, losing weight is ALL about calories!! Yes exercise burns calories but that does not mean you can eat as much as you like. Let me explain, to lose weight you need to create a calorific deficit which basically means you need to burn more calories than you consume, to lose 1lb in weight you need to burn 3500, yes 3500 more than you consume, so around 500 a day to lose 1lb a week. This sounds almost impossible but believe me it's not as difficult as you might think. You can work out how many calories per day you should be taking in to lose weight but make sure you don't eat too little or your body will think there is something wrong and will actually store fat rather than burn it!!
