I am on NYS Unemployment but...?

I am on NYS unemployment but I had an old employer call me this morning asking me to work 2 days next week. I have a problem with this because I draw the full amount on unemployment and I'm sure they're going to pay me the ridiculously low wage they paid me when I worked there which will probably amount to less than $100 for 2 days of work. I QUIT this job the beginning of last summer and draw an extremely low amount for unemployment, probably negligible, for this reason. The message they left me said "We are offering work to all of our past employees who are on unemployment". I hate this place with a pion and I refused to work there then and they are trying to get me back temporarily and i want to refuse that now but I don't want them to contact unemployment and tell them I refused work and mess up my benefits. I actually have an unemployment meeting on one of those days they called me in. Any ideas or thoughts on how I should handle this without messing up my benefits? Am I allowed to refuse work offered to me by a place that I quit working at? Thank you. Any help is appreciated.
